Earth Hour is a world-wide initiative to raise awareness of climate change and wildlife loss. The OCDSB is holding the School Earth Hour Challenge taking place on Friday, March 26th from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m.
Students and their families are encouraged to join millions of people world-wide by turning off lights on Saturday, March 27 from 8:30 - 9:30 p.m. You can also attend one of many virtual Earth Hour events. Learn more at

New this year! Take part in the Earth Hour Virtual Spotlight. Earth Hour will be releasing a video at 8:30 on Saturday. They are asking everyone to share the video on all social media feeds to shine a spotlight on our planet.
