The Ottawa-Carleton District School Board gives international students the opportunity to choose an educational path that best suits their interests and goals. While living in Ottawa, students can benefit from the excellent programs offered by the OCDSB!
Academic and Cultural Experience - By attending school in Canada and living in an all-English speaking environment, students gain an understanding of Canadian culture and of the English language that they cannot get from a classroom experience in their own country.
Academic Graduation - Students can complete high school in Ontario and earn an Ontario Secondary Diploma (OSSD).
University/College - In the senior grades, courses are offered to prepare students for university, college and workplace preparation.
English as a Second Language - Several high schools offer ESL instruction. Students at the secondary level can earn credits for successfully completing ESL courses.
