eLearning

eLearning is a District program.  Students in eLearning have signed up to take a course that is taught entirely online by a teacher in the OCDSB or by a teacher in one of our partner Districts in Ontario.  As with face to face classes, there are a maximum number of students who can register in each class.

Who to contact: Any high school student interested in taking an eLearning course should contact their guidance counselor.

Remote learning is a classroom-based online approach put in place in response to COVID-19. In this model, the classroom teacher coordinates learning opportunities, supports, and enhancements for the students in their class using various online platforms including Google Classroom or the Virtual Learning Environment.  This learning is done with ongoing support from the classroom teacher.

Who to contact:   Please contact your child's classroom teacher for information regarding the online learning opportunities they are providing for students.
