co-operative education

Mrs Catie Clapp and Mr Reg Young are the Co-op Education teachers.

South Carleton High School "tailor-fits" a co-op program to meet students' specific career goals. Out-of-school placements provide hands-on experiences, while the students gain credits, self-confidence, job skills, and an overall preparedness for the next phase of their lives. Apprenticeships can also begin at placements, once the student has 16 credits and the student has been placed in a qualifying trade.
