Transition Resource Guide - Compiled by Queen's University, this guide for students with disabilities explains a student’s rights and responsibilities, describes the differences between services at high school and post-secondary, and provides tips for being a self-advocate. It also has information specific to each post-secondary institution, including contact information for accessibility offices, available services, required documentation, and links to programs and scholarship information.

Centre for Accessible Learning at Algonquin College Info Sessions

The Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) at Algonquin College will be hosting virtual open house info sessions during the months of May, June, July, and August. All prospective students and their family members are encouraged to attend to learn about the academic accommodation process at Algonquin College. Registration through Eventbrite is required. 

The Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) Virtual Open House is an opportunity for new students and family members to meet CAL staff and learn about the academic accommodation process at Algonquin College. Information regarding additional support services and financial aid at the post-secondary level will also be discussed. Register early with the Centre for Accessible Learning (CAL) to start the academic accommodation process.
