Students New to the Ottawa-Carleton District School Board

Students new to the OCDSB who wish to register at South Carleton must complete the following forms:

Please make an appointment by phoning Cara Fauser at 613-838-2212 ext. 2003. Bring these documents with you to the appointment.

  • proof of address (property tax bill, assessment notice, purchase of sale agreement, or rental agreement); and
  • a minimum of two other forms of identification that include the address and the guardian’s name (which may include the previous list as well as utility bills); and
  • copy of Canadian Birth Certificate, Passport, or Permanent Resident documentation.

Returning Students in Grades 9 to 11

Returning students will register for their courses using Career Cruising. Your password will be issued to you at the Option Sheet Presentation to be held February 4-8. Step-by-step instructions will be posted here shortly. The deadline to complete your online registration is Thursday, February 21, 2019.

Additional Resources

South Carleton offers a wide variety of courses in all subjects. Informed course selection is key to being prepared for life after high school, whether that includes work, apprenticeship in a trade, college, or university. The following resources may be helpful as you make these decisions. You may also consult your teachers and guidance counsellor for advice.

Guidance counsellors will hold information sessions with all grade 9 - 11 classes during the week of February 4-8, 2019. These are the presentations that students were shown last year:

Grade 12 Students

Any grade 12 student wishing to return to South Carleton for a victory lap must complete the Request to Return form and return it to Guidance by February 21, 2019.
