Department Head: Ms. Andrea Strentse
South Carleton students can earn a French Immersion Certificate, as well as the Diplôme d’étude en langue française, or DELF. A Core French program is also offered.
The department focus is not only on the various aspects of the written and spoken language, but also on the promotion of the culture associated with the language. To these ends, student trips to experience and appreciate other cultures and languages are periodically offered.
For anyone interested in the DELF who missed the information session at Meet the Teacher, here is the presentation shown that night. Please note the important dates on slide 12.
