South Carleton's Athletic Program is supported by a strong Intramural Program that includes such activities as touch football, 3 on 3 basketball, volleyball, floor hockey, mini sticks, indoor soccer, dodgeball, and badminton. Drama Club

Fifth Wall Productions is the school's drama society. Rehearsal runs every Tuesday and Thursday, after school from 2:30-5:30. We will be entering the National Theatre School Drama Festival. There will be one performance at school and one at the festival. See Ms Clark for more information.


This group runs activities to raise awareness about mental health and to promote good mental health within the student body. It also raises funds to support various causes both locally and globally. Please see Ms. Eady, Ms. Welch, Ms. McHale or Ms. Pattison for more details.

Mural Club

Do you like to paint? Do you need volunteer hours? Do you want to leave your mark at S.C.? Meetings are Friday at lunch in room 11. Please see Mrs. Barbier in room 11 for more information.

Rainbow Alliance

A social and socially active group for members of the LGBTQ2S+ community and their allies. Every Friday at lunch in room 26. New members are welcome to join throughout the year. Please see Ms. Clark, Mr. Dales or Ms. Pike for more information.


TASC are the people that run the lights and sounds for productions and assemblies. Meetings are Tuesdays at the beginning of lunch in room 36. New members welcome throughout the year. Please see Mr. McIntyre for more information.

Coffee House

Coffee Houses are the culmination of months of hard work for the musicians and technicians. Contemporary music is performed in a relaxed café-style setting. For 2 hours families and members of the community experience a wide variety of music from artists such as Our Lady Peace, Carrie Underwood, and Toto, as well as a variety of original tracks from our homegrown SC talent pool. Audiences are usually in the 150-300 range. Proceeds from the Coffee Houses fund a musicians' scholarship which helps deserving graduates seeking post secondary schooling in music, audio recording and sound engineering. Leadership Camp and Leadership Planning Committee (LPC) 

Leadership Camp is a phenomenal event that takes place every November for three days. Students spend these days at school, overnight, learning and sharpening the various leadership skills they acquire throughout the weekend. The Leadership Planning Committee is a group of motivated South Carleton students who organize and run this wonderful camp. This camp is an extraordinary experience filled with laughter and inspirational memories. We hope to see you at the next camp. Love, LPC.

Green Team

The Green Team is a group of students from grades 9 to 12 who care about the environment and want to encourage greener practices. The Green Team meets Tuesdays in room 34. See Mme. Royo or Mr. Manks for more information.

The Well

The Well is made up of staff and students who are Christians and/or want to learn more about the Christian faith. Weekly lunch time meetings are where we connect and discuss various faith-based topics. We also initiate and participate in service-based projects and random acts of kindness. The Well meets Tuesdays at lunch in room 16. Please see Mrs. Geniole for more information.

Weight Room

The weight room is open Thursdays at lunch. It is located at the end of the Math hall. All students welcome. See a member of the Phys Ed staff for more information.

Writers' Club

Do you love to write? Then join us Fridays at lunch in room 25 to practise and share your writing through unique contest opportunities and fun writing activities. Please see Ms. Amini in the library for more information.

Dungeons & Dragons

Thursdays after school all students are welcome to join a game of dungeons and dragons. See Mr. Foster for more information.

SC Direct Current

Direct Current is a club that helps people arrange and perform pop and rock and get in front of live audiences. We meet Tuesdays at lunch in room 36. Come out and see what SC's school of rock is all about - no level of experience necessary. New members welcome all year. See Mr. McIntyre for more information.

Agriculture Club (SC Aggies)

Ever wonder where your food comes from? Do you live/work on a farm? Interested in taking field trips to local agribusinesses? Come hang out with fellow “aggies” Thursdays at lunch in Rm 49. Please see Mrs. Meier for more information.

Fishing Club

A club that will have students learn new skills in the sport of fishing as well as important issues in conservation. Members will be able to compete at a high school fishing competition in May of each year. See Mr. Donaldson for more information.

South Carleton Athletic Association (SCAA)

The South Carleton Athletic Association (SCAA) aims to both promote competitive interscholastic teams and to provide South Carleton students with the opportunity to participate in a wide variety of games and activities both at lunch and after school with a focus on the principles of true sport and inclusivity. Meetings are held Fridays at lunch in room 39 and are open to all students. Major events include the sports-a-thon (Fall: November 22nd, Spring: TBD) and athletic banquet (June).

Prom Committee

Grade 12 students are invited to have their say and be part of the organization of their Prom, fundraising and grade 12 spirit events. We meet every Friday at lunch in the dance studio. Please see Mrs. Hamilton, Mrs. Earle, or Mrs. Bourada-Ralph for more information.

Debate Club

Exercise your powers of persuasion. Bring your knowledge of the world around you and get ready for a lively exchange of ideas. There will be a fall season and a spring season. Please see Ms. Panabaker for more information.

Appreciation of Diversity

The goal of this student-led club is to appreciate and showcase different cultures at South Carleton. Watch for scavenger hunts and movie nights in the near future! The AOD Club meets in room 23 at lunch on Tuesdays. Please see Amatur Raheem Salam-Alada or Lily Omakor for more information.

MED Life

A group of students who plan to help those in need in Peru this summer. They meet at lunch in room 23 on Thursdays. Please see Miller Lee or Paige King for more information.
