Sadly, our physical space is closed to students at this time.
We hope to welcome you back soon!

In the meantime we are here to support you with electronic resources and Virtual Library Drop In sessions.

You can also borrow books from the SCHS Library. Here's how:

  1. Go to the Alexandria Researcher.

  2. Screenshot of Alexandria Researcher
  3. Search for books. You can use the Smart Search, or use the dropdown menu to choose a specific field, like title. When you find the book you want, expand the entry by clicking on the arrow at the top right.

  4. Hold iconClick on the Hold icon, located in the toolbar at the top right of the expanded entry. You will be asked for your username and password. In Alexandria, your user name is the first part of your school email address, eg. rsmit3. Your password is your last name, eg. smith.

  5. We will sign the book out to you for the rest of the quadmester, and deliver it to your classroom.

  6. Return the book to your classroom teacher for us to collect.
